Summary

The study recommended that NGOs should ensure the adequate inclusion of the marginalized and vulnerable communities by coordinating amongst each other and other governmental and non-governmental institutions. Likewise, the study recommends that community participation must be ensured in every process of the DRRM by NGOs, the projects must be demand-driven, the local government must formulate and regularly revise a clear Standard Operating Procedure in the context of disaster management and the government should introduce 'NGO Mobilization iii Guideline for Post-Disaster situation' to guide and streamline NGOs interventions
