The material incorporates a brief introduction to the Koshi River, representations of the risk of flood in maps, its mitigation, the formation of a dam; the impacts after the dam formation, and information regarding the Koshi River Agreement done in 1954 between Nepal and India and the use of water and electricity along with a way forward for sustainable change economically, socially and create a balanced environment.
