Dr. Suchita Shrestha, Ph.D., Senior Divisional Geologist and Mr. Shiva Baskota, Senior Divisional Geologist, Department of Mines and Geology prepared and shared this presentation on Monsoon Preparedness and Response Plan in a webinar in 2021. The presentation took off with a brief clarification on when and how the department was established, objectives and the roles of DMG in Landslide Risk Reduction, Emergency Geological Studies and the future plans of the department along with the lessons learnt from the past interventions and practices.
