Summary

The purpose of the Guideline published by the International Hydrological Programme is to offer a set of complementary approaches to already well-known engineering, and structural measures, rather than to propose ready-made solutions. This document takes into account the physical damages and the consequences of pollution caused by urban flooding targeting an audience of government professionals at all levels engaged in the planning and implementation of flood mitigation programs.
