This is the interim guideline for laboratory biosafety related to coronavirus disease (COVID-19). This document aims to offer temporary instructions regarding laboratory biosafety in the testing of clinical specimens from patients meeting the case definition of the newly identified pathogen in Wuhan, China, known as coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
