This presentation was presented in the Expert Group Meeting Organized by UNESCAP. This presentation outlines the major disaster incidents in Nepal, legal and policy frameworks for disaster response and recovery, management, national initiations, gaps, challenges, and the areas for support along with some pictures of natural disasters in Nepal to explore the areas where capacity development and disaster information management are necessary.
