This journal has mentioned about the disaster scenarios, its causes, effects  and preventive measures to be implemented in Nepal. Such natural disasters cause thousands of human casualties, and the destruction of physical property worth billions of rupees. Nepal is inherently susceptible to disasters due to its challenging geophysical features, climatic variability, and active tectonic processes. The country faces additional vulnerabilities such as resource constraints, a shortage of technical expertise, rapid population growth, and inadequate early-warning systems. To address these challenges, Nepal needs comprehensive disaster management strategies, including mass education, training programs, technological advancements, and resource allocation. Integrating disaster management courses into educational curricula, enhancing public awareness, and developing advanced early-warning systems are crucial. Political commitment, effective policy formulation, and regulatory enhancements are essential to strengthen disaster resilience.
