This is the National Position Paper on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management developed by the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Home Affairs for the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction Geneva 2019. This document gives a way forward to a better understanding of disaster risk through scientific research and comprehensive risk assessment, and to develop an institutional capacity for DRRM at all levels.
