"A methodology to compile multi-hazard interrelationships in a data-scarce setting: an application to the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal"

Summary

This study proposes a practical method to map single hazards and their interrelationships in data-scarce cities by blending five evidence types (academic/grey literature, media, databases, social media) and a 2-hour stakeholder workshop. Applied to Kathmandu Valley, it identifies 21 hazard types and 83 multi-hazard linkages, arguing this people-centred approach can inform dynamic DRR planning.
