Spatial analysis of causative factors for landslide susceptibility mapping in parts of Makwanpur District, central Nepal
Summary
This study prepares an inventory of 230 landslides across four rural municipalities and integrates nine factors (e.g., slope, lithology, distance to roads/streams, land cover) via AHP to map susceptibility in five classes. Validation shows fair-to-good predictive skill (ROC success ~0.727), supporting local response and mitigation planning.
