Summary

This is the Disaster Preparedness and Response Plan (DPRP) for Parsa District, 2020. Every year, Parsa District experiences significant losses of life and property due to floods, landslides, lightning, storms, and epidemics during the rainy season. To mitigate these damages, a monsoon preparedness and response plan has been developed by governmental and non-governmental disaster management agencies. This plan outlines strategies for disaster risk reduction, search and rescue operations, and relief efforts.
