This document is an approach paper for the Regreening Communities project model that addresses all of the issues in communities by guiding communities through a participatory environmental restoration process. challenges of climate change, unsustainable farming, and resource exploitation that harm the communities it serves, particularly in rural areas. These issues disrupt food production, water access, and community resilience, making them more vulnerable to climate-related disasters and resource conflicts. The Regreening Communities project offers a solution by involving communities in environmental restoration efforts. Each community selects a tailored set of solutions, including indigenous practices and government partnerships, such as Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR). This approach fosters community unity, creates resilient landscapes, and enhances crop and livestock yields, promoting food security, economic stability, and hope for future generations.
