Summary

This presentation shared by Mr. Sachin Malego, Information Management Officer, NHSRP is a training material that provides a guideline on the Operation of the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management System. This training material capacitates the participants’ technical skills and exposes and aware to the proper use of the modules of the BIPAD Portal. Furthermore, the presentation outlines the relevance of the portal in the local level scenario as well as for the Police as they are the first responders during disasters.

In addition to this, the presentation incorporates tasks and group activities that are designed to provoke and stimulate participants thought processes on the important issues regarding Disaster Risk Reduction.
