Summary

The high vulnerability of Nepal to disasters makes it prone to frequent emergencies, leading to the creation of crisis situations. To cope with the potential occurrence of emergencies in the country and to ensure comprehensive preparedness and response to post-disaster emergencies, this preparedness and response plan has been published. This response plan guides the responders and concerned individuals on how to react and respond during disasters and crisis situations. This simulation guideline provides a framework on how to simulate and train the community people to prepare for crisis situations along with a guideline for trainer team formation, their responsibilities and roles, concerned authorities, exercise management plan, and the roles of the participants.
