This is the 2021 version of the Minimum Standards for Camp Management. These standards outline the essential actions necessary to facilitate meaningful engagement within a camp, as well as to plan and coordinate activities across different sectors and agencies. They are grounded in the fundamental belief that the rights of displaced individuals should be upheld, and their needs met in a manner that upholds their dignity. The Minimum Standards in Camp Management seek to define the responsibilities of any agency managing a site in humanitarian contexts and establish a baseline of quality for their work. The primary audience for these standards is comprised of site managers and their teams, specifically those personnel who work in displacement sites on a daily basis. Following this humanitarian standard are a series of key actions, key indicators, and accompanying guidance notes to help achieve these objectives.
