Summary

This document is a legal framework for Environment-friendly Local Governance published by MoIAL which incorporates a set of principles, policies, and practices established to promote sustainable and environmentally responsible decision-making and actions at the local level. This framework aims to integrate environmental considerations into various aspects of local governance, including urban planning, infrastructure development, resource management, and public services.

This framework gives a brief on the legal provisions, environmentally friendly local governance indicators for Municipalities, Local government, District-level indicators, implementation and evaluation management, environmentally friendly public offices operation guidelines, and the monitoring and evaluation guideline of the framework.
