Summary

This presentation on the implementation of the DRR Act was prepared and shared by Mr. Khimananda Gyawali, Under Secretary, Home Ministry of Lumbini province during a “Learning/Sharing Program for Implementing and Strengthening DRR Policies and Strategies at Provincial Level”. This presentation incorporates the goals and objectives of the Act, the strategies to achieve those goals, priority areas, and disaster relief. Furthermore, the presentation clarified the programs organized by the Ministry, future plans, challenges, and the way forwards.
