Summary

The report is based on the Municipal level Disaster Preparedness and Response Plan of Neelkantha Municipality of Bagmati Province. The goal of this plan is to achieve the following objectives like: identify the roles and priorities of subject areas concerning disaster response, determine the key responsibilities and support agencies involved in disaster response, conduct accounting for disasters, risk mapping, data collection, and analysis of past disaster events develop a risk-informed plan that incorporates general preparedness, forecast-based preparedness, and emergency response activities for disasters; assess available resources and manpower for disaster response and potential disaster situations; evaluate, forecast, and manage vulnerability to address and mitigate potential risks.
