Summary

This document is an act published by the Butwal Sub-Metropolitan, Government of Nepal regarding the Disaster Management Action Plan in the particular Sub-Metropolitan City. It incorporates acts regarding earthquakes, fire, flood/landslide, and avalanches along with pandemic hazards. This document comprises pre and post-disaster preparedness and response plans in the region. Among all Sub-Metropolitan Cities in Nepal, the Disaster Act of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan was selected as a representative DRR&M act as it covers acts regarding almost all the disasters and hazards occurring in Nepal.
