A Report on Wood Treatment Training

Summary

This document is a report on the training provided to the residents of Lamidanda in Paanchkhal Municipality regarding Wood Treatment. The training successfully educated individuals on the wood treatment process, emphasizing its importance in light of the longstanding use of wood as a major building component in Nepal. With the government’s regulations promoting wood as a structural element, such as in bands, posts, and roofing elements, the necessity of wood treatment to protect against insects, bugs, and fungi became apparent. The method of treatment, while straightforward, required precise implementation of all procedures to ensure the usefulness of the wood preservation process.
