DPNet Nepal Holds Preparatory Meeting for 30th Anniversary Celebration

Kathmandu, March 20, 2026: The Disaster Preparedness Network Nepal (DPNet Nepal) convened a preparatory virtual meeting with its Advisors and Technical Advisors as part of the planning process for the organization’s upcoming 30th Anniversary celebration, scheduled for 25th Jestha 2083.

The meeting was organized to discuss and further refine the zero draft of the anniversary concept note, which had previously been shared among advisors for review and feedback. DPNet Nepal expressed gratitude to its advisors for their valuable comments, suggestions, and technical inputs that contributed to strengthening the proposed program framework.

Held virtually from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the discussion focused on finalizing the concept and exploring ideas to make the anniversary celebration meaningful and impactful. The discussions concluded to celebrate the anniversary event and celebrate three decades of contribution in the field of disaster preparedness, risk reduction, knowledge sharing, and humanitarian coordination in Nepal.

The organization also encouraged advisors and stakeholders who had not yet reviewed the concept note to continue providing feedback through the shared document link using suggestion mode.

DPNet Nepal acknowledged the continued guidance and support of its advisors and reaffirmed its commitment to collaborative efforts in strengthening disaster preparedness and resilience across the country.
