Learning and Sharing National Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (NCDRR)- 2022
Disaster Preparedness Network- Nepal (DPNet-Nepal) is a national umbrella organization of national and international agencies, established in 1996 with an objective of coordination, collaboration, learning and sharing of the experiences and to avoid duplication in emergency response in the country.
On February 3rd, 2023, DPNet organized a revision discussion on the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) in support of OXFAM Nepal. The discussion aimed to gather input from 70 stakeholders in the Nepal humanitarian sector and government agencies on the revision of the CHS.
The Disaster Preparedness Network Nepal (DPNet) held its 14th General Assembly at the Everest Hotel in Baneshwor, Kathmandu on January 20, 2023.
Sphere Regional Focal Point meeting was held in Bangkok from 4th to 9th Decemer 2022, where the DPNet Vice Chair and Coordinator of Sphere Nepal shared Nepal's tremendous efforts in localizing and institutionalizing Sphere Standards.
