The air quality data of Dhankuta reveals varying levels of Total Suspended Particles (TSP), PM2.5, and PM10 concentrations throughout the year. TSP concentrations were notably high in the later months of the year, particularly in October, November, and December, while they were at their lowest in the summer months of July and August. PM2.5 levels peaked in October with a monthly average of 401 µg/m3 and were lowest in June at 28 µg/m3. On the other hand, PM10 concentrations were highest in November at 70.8 µg/m3 and lowest in September at 16.86 µg/m3. Additionally, there was a clear seasonal variation, with PM2.5 levels being significantly higher in the post-monsoon season compared to the monsoon season. Furthermore, diurnal variations showed that PM2.5 concentrations typically peaked around 5 pm and were lowest between 12-2 pm.
