The "Procedures for the treatment and relief of victims of violence, injured and disabled, 2077" has been established by the state government under Section 3 of the Administrative Procedures (Regulation) Act, 2075, effective immediately. It outlines treatment and relief for individuals injured or disabled during armed conflicts or movements in Karnali Province. Defined terms include "disabled person," "hospital," "people's movement," "province acquisition movement," and "armed conflict." Eligible individuals can seek treatment at designated hospitals with specified documents. The Ministry of Home Affairs and Law authorizes relief funds for treatment expenses, including transport, accommodation, and food costs. Records of expenses must be maintained and sent to the Ministry. The Provincial Council of Ministers has the authority to remove obstacles, and the provincial government may issue necessary instructions for relief fund distribution. The procedure repeals the Conflict Victim Relief Distribution Procedure, 2076.
