Summary

This document provides an overview of the scenario of Disaster in Nepal, the roles of the Civil Society Organizations during a disaster, the National Citizens Alliance for Reconstruction and Recovery (NCARR), and its project People Led Solutions for Better Accountability Practices - PELSAP to raise accountability and transparency, its progresses along with the challenges and issues with NCARR. The document further outlines, in brief, the probable efforts to be made by NCARR and the way forward for better DRM practices.
