This document is a policy brief that provides detailed information on the approaches, existing problems, and challenges associated with DRR governance to address transparency and accountability, a brief on the supporting DRRM-related acts and the gaps in those acts, the prevailing strategies and frameworks, Academia view on the DRR governance scenario, along with the key recommendations on the Laws and Policies, Planning and Implementation of the DRR measures, accountability check and citizen empowerment at all levels for their active engagement to manage resources for DRR.
