Summary

This fund management act for emergencies was published by the Sudurpaschim Province which is prone to various disasters such as earthquakes, landslides, floods, wildfires, epidemics, and others. The high vulnerability and limited capacity of this region have resulted in significant damage to public and private properties, infrastructure, and other structures. The establishment and operation of the emergency Fund was done in order to minimize and manage the risks posed by such natural and man-made disasters and to establish a mechanism for disaster risk management at the local level.
