Summary

In order to ensure the organized management and effective distribution of resources obtained or collected from various sources for the preparation, response, and recovery of disasters, as well as the storage, management, and operation of warehouses containing disaster recovery and relief materials, and to make the distribution of materials from warehouses systematic and impactful, Bagmati Province Government has enacted the Bagmati Disaster Management Act, 2075 (2019) utilizing the authority provided by Section 45 of the Act, to establish a comprehensive framework for disaster management in the province.
