Summary
This provincial DRR Policies and Strategic Action Plan for Bagmati Province is prepared and published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law, Bagmati Province. This action plan has been formulated in line with the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act 2017. It includes the strategic action plan and activity for short-term, mid-term, and long-term goals on DRR. The major purpose of this action plan is to efficiently and effectively respond to crises and enhance sustainable development-oriented preparedness, rehabilitation and reconstruction-related activities, to succeed in the multi-dimensional aspects of disaster management throughout the Bagmati Province.
