Summary

This Province Disaster Management Act promulgated by the Province Government of Bagmati Province in order to mitigate the impact of natural and man-made disasters throughout the province, protect and promote the socio-cultural, economic, and individual assets, promote the conservation of natural and cultural heritage, ensure the least possible damage in disaster-prone areas, provide relief to victims, rehabilitate and resettle them, and carry out all business activities in a systematic and proactive manner. This act has been enacted by the Provincial Assembly. The 1st Amendment of this act was done in the year 2022.
