Lumbini province is prone to disasters such as Flood, Landslide, Fire, Lightning and Thunderbolt, Droughts, and windstorms. This Disaster Management Guideline prepared by the Lumbini Province provides a framework to work on the whole disaster management cycle, i.e. preparedness, response and rescue along with rehabilitation and reconstruction in the context of the climatic and geographic condition of the province.
