Dr. Shrijan Bahadur Malla, SIMEX Hub shared his presentation regarding “Preparedness for Effective Response: Simulation Exercise Process and Practices” during the Second National Disaster Risk Reduction Conference organized by MoHA with the technical and financial support from USAID Tayar Nepal and DPNet Nepal. He started his presentation by highlighting the historical perspective and the current trends in simulation. Further, he shared the objectives and types of Simulation along with the current trends and DRR Simulation scenarios in Nepal. He shared the feedbacks SIMEX hub received after simulation exercises were conducted and added a GEDSI perspective to the learning and way forwards.
