Summary

The technical session on Good Practices and Learning, coordinated by Mr. Sunil Sun Shakya and chaired by Ms. Saloni Pradhan Singh, featured five presentations. Mr. Ram Gurung discussed strengthening shock-responsive social protection in Nepal, while Mr. Ganesh KC shared insights on learning about cash transfer and localization. Mr. Hari Karki presented experiences on sexual and reproductive health and rights in recent disaster events, including the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Meen Bahadur Poudyal Chhetri focused on the establishment of medico-legal death investigation systems to enhance response to the management of the dead. Lastly, Mr. Umesh Dhakal reflected on the localization of the disaster management information system.
