The article provides an overview of landslide hazard mapping and focuses on the Leoutikhola watershed in Dhankuta district, eastern Nepal. It aims to depict landslide hazard zonation and susceptibility mapping by considering various factors. Bivariate statistical index, Geographic Information System (GIS), and Remote Sensing (RS) tools are used to calculate weighted values. The results indicate five different hazard zones: very low, low, moderate, high, and very high, with values ranging from -4.2 to 4.58. The paper concludes that the calculated hazard values fall within specific quartile ranges, providing a comprehensive assessment of landslide hazard in the area.
