This guideline is about Disaster risk management which is drafted across all levels of government, spanning from the federal to the local level, to ensure its integration into policy. This endeavor aims to align with the Sustainable Development Goals. It should encompass all social classes, communities, and geographical areas by effectively utilizing local resources, thereby fostering a transparent, participatory, inclusive, and responsible management system. The Local Disaster Risk Management Planning Guideline for the year 2068 is formulated by using the authority granted under Article 2 of the Local Self-Governance Act of 2055, while also aligning with the enhanced primary goals of the National Disaster Risk Management Planning for 2066.
