This study examines global post-earthquake disease outbreaks, assesses Nepal's zoonotic threats, and highlights the importance of adopting the One Health approach. Nepal's reported zoonosis is mainly parasitic, but other infectious diseases are possible. Fragile healthcare infrastructure and untrained personnel can exacerbate disease transmission, particularly zoonosis, after earthquakes. Collaborative efforts among aid agencies, veterinarians, and health professionals under the One Health approach are needed to address this crisis.
