This is a presentation about Understanding children’s risk and agency in urban areas for child-centred urban disaster risk reduction in Asia: Insights from Dhaka, Kathmandu, Manila, and Jakarta. The objective of this research is to establish an empirical evidence base concerning children's risk and agency in urban areas. This data will be utilized by Plan International to inform the development of their Country Strategy Programmes (CSPs) and urban Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) programs in Asia.
