This document is a guiding framework for the operation of disaster affected household reconstruction programs. In 2072 B.S., the earthquake on April 25 and subsequent aftershocks severely affected 14 districts in Nepal, causing unprecedented damage. The survey, conducted with technical support from the Central Bureau of Statistics and international organizations, identified 75,910 severely affected households in 11 districts. A comprehensive revaluation and reassessment of 45,809 households have been carried out, resulting in 31 districts with 17,212 households receiving relief and 4,580 households excluded due to various reasons. The Central Bureau of Statistics, in collaboration with various agencies, is actively involved in implementing this survey, and the process is ongoing. The survey focuses on detailed data collection, utilizing a standardized methodology and updating old questionnaires. The information collected will aid in allocating resources and implementing recovery and reconstruction efforts. The budget for this survey is managed by the Nepal government and international development partners.
