Summary

This is a Disaster Preparedness and Response Plan for  Dadeldhura District which aims to  mitigate the consequences of diseases, landslides, fires, floods, earthquakes, and man-made catastrophes. The plan emphasized on enhancing community resilience and preparedness, reducing disaster risks, and ensuring effective response to natural and man-made disasters through coordinated efforts and updated strategies. Improving early warning systems, humanitarian response and recovery activities, and stakeholder cooperation are its primary goals. The plan prioritizes strengthening community resilience while also giving impoverished groups like Dalits, women, children, and the elderly more influence. Notwithstanding challenges including limited data collection and reliance on outside resources, the strategy seeks to expedite crisis management and lessen the overall impact on affected areas.
