Summary

This presentation incorporates the conceptual framework, and definitions of loss and damage associated with climate change, a review of policy documents regarding Climate Change, and Disaster Risk Reduction. Moreover, it gives a brief on the thematic focus of climate change and Policy Focus for DRR along with the institutional arrangement for climate change for policy coordination; at the national level and functional level by MoFE, inter-ministerial coordination committee under MoFE. Climate change section, unit, or focal person at the local level, concerned thematic ministries at the provincial and federal level in detail. It further gives an overview of the provisions on loss and damage.
