Summary

This document presents the findings of two rounds of HRRP data collection on the production and use of Hollow Concrete Blocks (HCBs) across the districts affected by the 25 April 2015 Gorkha earthquake. This manual mainly addresses the methods of inspection and checklist and the corrective measures on existing Construction to guide the engineers in suggesting the masons and homeowners. This manual covers the reinforced masonry structural wall system buildings that are newly constructed or under construction using concrete blocks (Hollow or Solid) under the GoN housing reconstruction program.
