Two children of a family died in flames at landless squatter's settlement in Tagandubba VDC-6, Jhapa district on Saturday night.The inferno claimed lives of Mohammad Ansari Miya’s daughter Naseena Khatun, 9 and son Kuyemuddin, 6.

Three houses have gutted in fire.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.

One dead, 2 injured in jeep mishap

A person died and other two have been injured when a jeep carrying CPN-UML cadres met with an accident at Dadheldhura district on Sunday morning.
The jeep bound for Butwal from Achham, to attend the eighth UML general convention slated for tomorrow, plunged into Raduwa River at around 3 this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Dhirendra Kunwar, resident of Achham district.

Injured Rajendra Kunwar and Bhim Buda are undergoing treatment in Dadheldhura.

It has been learnt that Buda is in critical state
